Eh, some teams don't really care what kind of offense they get from their catchers. That how both Brad Ausmus and Jason Kendall have been able to get starting gigs. They probably really want to get the most from their pitchers.
...and what about the fact that Jose is 40 lbs overweight and is a lock for a leg injury after 35 games?
